I'm back. :D
My vaccation in the USA and in Las Vegas was very nice. I was in Vegas for New Year's Eve (Dec 30th to Jan 2nd) and also played some poker in different Casinos. 3 of my friends and me stayed in the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. On the first day we decided to celebrate in a club, because on New Year's Eve the admissions for the clubs are 150$ and up. We were at the Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace and after that I wanted to play poker, but didn't manage to do that because I was too tired.
On New Year's Eve we woke up around noon and visited some other Hotels. In the early evening I played some poker in our hotel, the Excalibur. There were different tables open and I decided to play 2$/6$ spread limit hold em. It's some kind of fixed limit where you can vary your bets a bit. I stayed very tight, because the table was very loose and I could win abou 30$. After that we got ready for celebrating New Year's Eve on the Strip. The Strip was closed for cars and we could celebrate on the street in front of the New York New York Hotel. The firework wS very disappointing, because only 4 or 5 Hotels made a very small one. But the rest of the New Year's party was nice. :D
After that we visited some ther hotels and I played in the MGM Grand some poker again in the early morning, where I won about 200$ on the 2$/4$ fixed limit tables. Some of the opponents didn't even knew the rules ("Sir, you can't go allin on a fixed limit table for your entire stack"). These Tables again were very loose and profitable.
On the nex Day we woke up very late in the afternoon, visited more Hotels and again...poker.:P
First in the MGM 3$/6$ FL, then in the Aria 4$/8$ FL and finally in the Bellagio NL200. (Bellagio was my favorite). On that evening/night I made another ~200$ and only got some hours of sleep until we left Las Vegas for our journey to San Francisco.
