I just busted out of the Turbo Takedown in 9572th place out of 21652.
The first hour wasn´t really exciting.
I had always the same stack and played a tight aggressive style, because the others (except the two players which were on sitting out all the time) were extremly loose.
My first good hand I could play was AKo. Some hands before, I got good cards, but only won the blinds.
The next hand after this split pot was again AK against a loose bigstack. I hoped for a call but he folded.
At least I won hin raise and a Big Blind.
Then I was card dead for some hands, and found a spot, I could push first in with about 10BB.
I´m not sure if that push was good.
I hope the next Turbo Takedown will be better.
I won´t play anymore today and complete this month with a loss of 1/4th of my bankroll.
Next month I´m trying to play a bit more disciplined than this and the last months.

Welcome to my Blog
With one month semester break, I decided to start my blog now.
I hope it helps me to play more disciplined than in the past ummm .... 2 years.
Some infos about me: I´m a 23 year old computer science student from germany. (english is not my native language, that is why some phrases might sound strange. :P)

I started playing poker in december 2006 with No Limit Holdem Cash game with free 50$ I got from a pokerschool.
Until late 2007 I was not very successfull, but could boost my bankroll to about 250$.

The year 2008 was at the beginning very successful.
In january 2008 I had 2 big cashes in the 11$ 15k guaranteed on stars (which is now the daily thirty grand).
A third place out of 2700 players for 2,000$ and a 4th place out of 2500 players for 1,500$.
After that I played to many tourneys with bigger buyins and dropped to 1,500$ bankroll until I cashed again for 1,600$ in an 3.30$ Rebuy on Pokerstars with an 5th place out of 2900 players.
I still played to many high tourneys and at the end of year 2008 I was down again to 550$ Bankroll.
What a bad year, but at least I more than doubled my bankroll.

In 2009 I had several Final Tables on big tourneys but was the first or second who bustet at the Final Table.
I played much MTT SnGs (18-180 players), many MTTs and always switched between cashgame and tourneys, what was not very helpful.
I again more than doubled my bankroll by the end of 2009.

In january 2010 until now, I had a small downswing and again played too much tourneys (too much variance).
For the last days of January my goal is to play only 3.25$/45s and 2.20$/180s MTT SNGs and some Fixed Limit short handed cashgame (0.25$/0.50$) until I have the necessary FPPs for the Turbo Takedown Tourney on Pokerstars.
