Back in business

Today I had my first big winning session in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Won about 30 Buyins in 15 SnGs.
I hope the next sessions will be like that one too.
At the beginning of the session I already thought that´ll be a loosing session again because I first lost 2 times with KK vs Ax and AA vs QQ, but then the things turned and I had some nice cashes.

I also started to play Headsup Sit and Gos some days ago. I´ll play them only when I don´t have enough time to start a 3.25$/45s session. I tried some 6.25$ 2 and 4 player and some 11.50$

My profit for february are about 40-50$.

February: Week 3 - Only Break Even

The last week wasn´t very spectacular. I played some 3.25$/45s and 2.20$/180s and an 11$ satellite to the sundaymillion 4th aniv. special (or better the 215T$). In the satellite I bustet with AQs vs QJs.

Overall I lost about 10$, so nearly break even.
I´m sorry, but I don´t have a graph this week because some tournament historys are buggy.


This week (the last week of February) is my last week of the semester break.
I´ll try to grind a lot of 3.25$/45s. After the semester break I´ll have my practical, but I guess in the evening I still have enough time for poker.


The next post will be on wednesday or thursday I guess and I´ll try to write a more interesting post than this one. :P

February: Week 2 - The Downswing

The second week of february was very bad. I played 145 tourneys which were:

139x  3.25$/45s  (with about -128$)
1x 8.80$ 40$ Micro Million Qualifier (lost)
2x 5.50$ 40$ Micro Million Qualifier (lost)
1x 2.20$ Rebuy 40$ Micro Million Qualifier (lost) with 1 rebuy and 1 addon
1x 500FPP 40$ Micro Million Qualifier (Won the ticket worth 40$)
1x 40$ Micro Million (busted out of money)

Overall about -154$ this week.

My goal was to play 200 sngs the week but I only played 145
I also didn´t played only 3.25$/45.
I wanted to play the 40$ Micro Million and played Qualifier for 26$ and 500fpp and won the ticket for 40$

The structure of the 40$ Micro Million was very nice. 10,000 chips starting stack and 25/50 starting blinds and 15min blindlevels. I hope Pokerstars will start more tourneys with that structure.

The tourney didn´t went well for me. Until the break I lost 1/4 of my stack in several small pots.

My profits in february shrunk to about 23$ after that week.

I hope the next week will be better.

I try to play only the 3.25$/45s and the 1.10$ 40 Special SnGs with 40 players (because in the afternoon the 3.25$/45s don´t start fast enough to masstable)

February: Week 1 - Too less tourneys

The first week of the month is over and I only played 171 tournaments.(24 per day)

Even though I played not enough tourneys to reach my weekly goal. (which was 350 tourneys), I made some nice profits. Overall 177,09$ profits in the first week, which is a ROI of 32,8%.
I played:

• 158x 3.25$/45
• 12x 2.20$/180
• 1x VIP 30k (Buyin: 100fpp where I came in the money for 6$)

The "planned" profit for this week was about 170$  (15%ROI in 350 tourneys)...at least I reached this goal.

But what I´m really proud of is that I played nothing else than 3.25$/45s and 2.20$/180s (except the VIP freeroll with 100fpp buyin). :D

The 2nd weeks goals would be:

• 450 sngs (because of the deficit in week 1)
• 220$ profits (15% ROI in 450 sngs)
• Don´t play anything else than 3.25$/45s and 2.20$/180s

But I guess these goals are more realistic:

• 200 sngs (about 30 per day)
• 130$ profit (20% ROI)
• Don´t play anything else than 3.25$/45s (no 2.20$/180s!!)

Let`s see how the 2nd week runs. :P

First two days of the Month

The first two days of the month are over.
Yesterday I reached my goal and played 53 MTT SnGs (41x3.25$/45s and 12x 2.20$/180s).
The 2.20$/180s didn´t went well, and I wasn´t a single time in the money.
The 3.25$/45s were better, and I could make some money.
Overall february the first wasn´t that good and I lost about 5.7 buyins.

Today I only played 14x 3.25$/45s, but more successful than yesterday.
I won 2 of these and finished in 4th place which makes a profit of 16.4 buyins.

So this month I am 10,7BI up which is a ROI of 18,7%.

Tomorrow I´ll try to play more MTT SNGs. I guess I´ll play more 3.25$/45. The 2.20$/180s seem to be very swingy.

Goals for February

I decided to set my goals for february.
Reaching goals like profit or a good ROI is difficult because of the swings I guess, but I´ll have a try.
I´ll mainly focus on goals like playing 50 MTT SNGs per day.

Here are my goals for february:

• Play 50 sngs per day (approx. 1500 this month)
• Don´t play anything else than 3.25$/45s and 2.20$/180s until I reach 1,500$ bankroll
• Add 4.40$/180s when I reached 1,500$ bankroll
• 750$ in Winnings (approx. 15% ROI on the 3.25$/45s)
• Don´t play any cash game or other MTTs
